Frequently asked questions

Q01Do quarterback runs count as rushes on the girls 7v7 sheet?+

Yes. Under the NFHS 7v7 baseline the quarterback is allowed to run, and there are no no-run zones on the field, so log a quarterback run as a rush attempt. State associations may modify the NFHS rules, so check your state adopted rulebook.

Q02Why are conversions split into two columns on the girls sheet?+

A 1-point try and a 2-point try are different plays with different scoring, so separate columns keep the totals honest and make the box score match the scoreboard at a glance.

Q03What should I give my athletic director after a girls flag game?+

The final score, the totals row from this sheet for each player, and any safeties or defensive scores. Many athletic directors want the sheet the same day, so total it before you leave the field.
