Accessibility statement

Last updated August 6, 2026

Our commitment

Flag50 is committed to making flag football accessible to everyone, on the field and online. We want every parent, player, coach, and league organizer to be able to use this site, regardless of ability or the assistive technology they rely on.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work: we review new pages and features against these guidelines and continue to improve existing ones.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and labels
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators that are never removed
  • Skip-to-content links on our core pages
  • Color choices checked for sufficient contrast against our dark theme
  • Alternative text on meaningful images
  • On-page accessibility preferences (the round button in the lower-left corner of every page): larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, a simplified font, and reduced motion, saved between visits

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties, such as embedded video players, external registration providers, and logos or photos uploaded by leagues. We cannot always control the accessibility of that content, but we will help you get the information it contains through another channel on request.

Feedback

If you have trouble using any part of this site, or have suggestions for making it better, please tell us. Email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject line and we will respond as quickly as we can, normally within a few business days.
