Two ways to pay

Pay per registration, or pay a flat subscription.

This is the full price list for Flag50, the flag football league software behind registration, scheduling, live scoring, standings, and player profiles. Either lane reaches the same feature ladder: one is unlocked by registration volume, the other billed monthly. The fee is 3.5% plus $3, handled at checkout, and you choose whether to pass it to the registrant or absorb it.

Tournaments are priced per event: $10 per team, or a one-time pass. See tournament pricing

The paper scorecard tax

See what your season costs you in hours.

Paper scorecards do not end at the field. Somebody collects them, reads the handwriting, types the stats in, rebuilds the standings, and answers the coach who swears the score was wrong. Set your season below.

At that rate the hours you get back are worth about 1.4 months of the Elite plan, and on the registration lane you pay nothing for them.

Time estimates are based on 14 minutes of post-game administration per paper-scored game plus 30 minutes a week rebuilding standings and answering score questions. Adjust the season above to see your own number.

The fee, in real numbers

Try your registration price.

Fee paid at checkout$6.50

Absorb it, you net$93.50

Your choice, set per event. At common prices the fee is $5.10 on a $60 registration, $5.62 on a $75 registration, $6.50 on a $100 registration, and $8.25 on a $150 registration.

What a real league pays

On the registration lane, $0 at any size.

Assumes about 2.5 registrations per participant per year at a $100 average, fee passed to the registrant. The revenue column is what Flag50 makes from those checkouts; we would rather show it than hide it.

Tournament pricing

Tournaments are priced per event.

A tournament is one weekend, so it gets one price. Run team registration through Flag50 and the fee is $10 per team. Keep registration elsewhere and buy a one-time pass sized to your field. Neither is a monthly subscription.

Common questions

Pricing questions.

How much does Flag50 cost?

Leagues and tournaments are priced differently. For leagues there are two lanes: run registration through Flag50 and the platform is included, with a fee of 3.5% plus $3 per registration paid at checkout, or keep registration elsewhere and pay a monthly plan (Rookie $99, Pro $299, Elite $599, Enterprise custom). Tournaments are priced per event: $10 per team when team registration runs through Flag50, or a one-time pass sized by team count.

Does Flag50 have a subscription fee?

Only if you keep your registration on another platform. A league that runs its registration through Flag50 pays no subscription. The subscription tiers exist for leagues that want the Flag50 toolset without moving their registration over.

Who pays the 3.5% plus $3 fee?

That is your choice, set per event. Pass it to the registrant at checkout and your league keeps the full registration price. Absorb it and the registrant pays exactly your set price while the fee comes out of what you collect.

What does my league actually pay if registration runs through Flag50?

Nothing out of pocket when the fee is passed to the registrant. A league with 500 participants running about 1,250 registrations a year at a $100 average pays $0 to Flag50 directly, because the per-registration fee is handled at checkout by the registrant.

When do features unlock on the registration lane?

Registration volume unlocks the ladder. At 100 or more participants you reach the Pro feature set. At 400 or more participants the Elite feature set unlocks. Larger operations are quoted as Enterprise.

Is Flag50 a cheaper alternative to a subscription platform like SportsEngine?

For a league running its registration through Flag50, yes in the sense that matters. A subscription platform charges the league a fixed monthly bill no matter what. On the Flag50 registration lane the league pays nothing out of pocket because the fee is handled at checkout. The real comparison is league pays nothing versus league pays a fixed annual bill.

How is tournament pricing different from league pricing?

A tournament is a single event, so it never carries a monthly plan. Run team registration through Flag50 and the platform fee is $10 per team. Keep registration elsewhere and buy a one-time pass for the event: $99 covers up to 20 teams, $299 up to 60 teams, $599 up to 150 teams, and anything over 150 teams is quoted custom. The pass is one payment per tournament.
