How we check each state

  1. We read the state association's own flag football pages and handbook for an equipment or headgear rule.
  2. We record a rule only from the association's own page, with its link and the date we checked.
  3. We never guess an effective date. If the association does not state one, we say so.
  4. Sanctioning status comes from our girls high school flag football by state table, with a source for each state.
