About Flag50 News

Flag50 News covers youth, high school, college, pro and Olympic flag football, and explains what each story means for the leagues, coaches and families who run and play the game.

Who publishes it

Flag50 News is published by Flag50, the operating system for flag football leagues and tournaments. Flag50 is the trade name of Stact Inc., based in Carlsbad, California. Jay Fraser is the chief executive officer.

Stories written and edited by Flag50 staff carry the Flag50 Team byline. Flag50 builds software for flag football leagues, and some stories link to it. Those links never change what a story reports.

How we report

Every story is sourced from primary reporting: official announcements, governing bodies and rulebooks, participation surveys, and the outlets that broke the news. Each story lists its sources at the end with links, so you can check them.

We do not publish a number we cannot source. Each story shows the date it was published and, when it changes, the date it was updated.

Corrections

When we get a fact wrong, we correct it in the story and update the date at the top. To report an error, email [email protected] with the story link and the correction.
