Common questions
How do you line up Cover 2 Drop 6 in 6v6 flag football?
Two safeties 10 yards deep over the slots, corners 5 yards off the outside receivers, and two underneath defenders at 5 yards over the slots.
What beats Cover 2 Drop 6 in 6v6 flag football?
A receiver up the middle seam between the two safeties, and a patient quarterback who waits for a hole between the hook defenders. Keep W and M deep enough to take the seam away.
How is Cover 2 Drop 6 different from Cover 2 Sink in 6v6 flag football?
Drop 6 trades the rusher for a fourth underneath defender, and the corners squat in the flats instead of sinking. It is built to stop short throws, not deep ones.
