The Top 15 Girls Flag Football Clubs in America (2026 Rankings)
The 15 best girls flag football clubs in the country for 2026, ranked on Oakley Icon Alliance and NFL FLAG Championships results, program depth, and pipeline, with the full OIA Championship Weekend standings.

Girls flag football is no longer an emerging sport. It is a national ecosystem with a real competitive pyramid: local rec leagues feed regional circuits, regional circuits feed invite-only elite leagues, and the elite leagues feed a growing pipeline into college scholarships and, in 2028, the Olympics.
Two events now define the club season. The Oakley Icon Alliance (OIA), powered by RCX Sports, runs fall regionals at NFL practice facilities and crowns a champion in February at The Bolt in Los Angeles. The NFL FLAG Championships presented by Toyota, operated by RCX Sports, closes the year in July with more than 350 teams from every NFL market plus a dozen countries.
In 2026, both events delivered instant classics. Below is our ranking of the 15 best girls flag football clubs in the country, plus a breakdown of how each one performed on the Oakley Icon Alliance stage.
Looking for a club near you rather than the top of the pyramid? The Flag50 Club Finder lists girls flag football travel and select clubs by city, state, and age group.
The 2026 Oakley Icon Alliance Championship: What Actually Happened
OIA expanded to 16 elite teams across East and West regionals in its second year. The field narrowed to eight for Championship Weekend, held February 12 to 15 at Oakley Headquarters and The Bolt in El Segundo.
Here are the final standings from that eight-team field:
| Rank | Club | Record | PF | PA | Diff |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Texas Fury (Champion) | 7-2 | 275 | 160 | +115 |
| 2 | Bad Rabbits | 6-3 | 218 | 168 | +50 |
| 3 | Apex Predators | 5-3 | 194 | 208 | -14 |
| 4 | The Home Team (THT) | 4-4 | 161 | 178 | -17 |
| 5 | Conquer Chargers | 4-3 | 143 | 101 | +42 |
| 6 | Pirate Bay Krewe | 2-5 | 109 | 161 | -52 |
| 7 | Leominster Flag Football | 2-5 | 118 | 161 | -43 |
| 8 | Athena Athletics | 1-6 | 85 | 166 | -81 |
Texas Fury, Bad Rabbits, Apex Predators and THT advanced to the semifinals. Texas Fury beat Bad Rabbits 27-26 in the final. Jessica Manriquez of Bad Rabbits was named tournament MVP.
Worth noting for context on the rankings below: Conquer Chargers posted the third-best point differential in the entire field at plus 42 and allowed the fewest points of any team (101), but a 13-6 opening loss to Leominster and a one-point loss to THT kept them out of the semifinals. That gap between process and bracket outcome matters, and the summer proved it.
Oakley has already announced that OIA expands again for 2026 to 2027, growing to more than 70 teams across the United States, Canada, Panama and Mexico.
The Rankings
1. Conquer Chargers
Location: Irvine and Huntington Beach, California (Orange County) Website: conquersocal.com · Club page: Conquer Chargers on Flag50
The biggest and most decorated girls flag program in the country, full stop. Conquer is the official girls flag football club of the Los Angeles Chargers, a training academy of roughly 15 teams and 150 athletes spanning 9U, 10U, 12U, 14U and High School, and it is powered by Oakley.
The 2026 résumé is the strongest in the sport. Competing as LA Conquer, they won the Girls High School Division at the NFL FLAG Championships, beating reigning champion Texas Fury ATX Red 15-14 on a walk-off two-point conversion in overtime. Quarterback Ava Ortman hit Mya Smith for the win in a game broadcast live on ABC, which ESPN later confirmed became the most-watched NFL FLAG game ever played. That same weekend, Conquer Chargers won the Girls 14U national title 27-6 over CT Flag LMX, doing it with only seven players available for a 5-on-5 tournament, and finished national runner-up at Girls 10U.
Add an Oakley Icon Alliance Championship Weekend berth, a win over Texas Fury in OIA pool play, the best scoring defense in the OIA field, international play in Rome, and a documented pathway into U.S. National Team selections, and the case is clear. No other club is operating at this scale with this level of results across this many age groups.
2026 OIA finish: 5th (4-3, plus 42 differential, fewest points allowed in the field)
2. Texas Fury
Location: Austin, Texas, with teams in DFW and San Antonio Website: texasfuryflag.com · Club page: Texas Fury on Flag50
Founded in 2017 by Jason and Amberly Klam with six girls, Texas Fury has become the benchmark for sustained excellence. The program has stacked national championships, FFWCT world titles, and, by the founders' own accounting, has sent every aged-out player to college with multiple scholarship offers.
Fury are the reigning Oakley Icon Alliance national champions, winning the 2026 title 27-26 over Bad Rabbits and finishing the weekend 7-2 with a plus 115 point differential, the best mark in the field by a wide margin. They also reached the NFL FLAG Girls High School final in July, losing by one point in overtime. Quarterback Emery Beckett and receivers Zahra Hill and Kaitlyn Reynolds form arguably the most productive skill trio in club flag.
The only thing separating Fury from the top spot is program breadth. Head to head, this is a coin flip.
2026 OIA finish: 1st, National Champions
3. Apex Predators
Location: Henderson, Nevada (Las Vegas Valley) Website: apexpredatorsflagfootball.com · Club page: Apex Predators on Flag50
Established in 2016 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Apex is the West's most consistent developmental machine. The club fields 12U, 14U and 17U girls teams plus a High School girls 7s squad, and it has been a fixture at NFL FLAG Nationals and USA Football sanctioned events for years.
Apex reached three consecutive NFL FLAG 18U finals before falling to the Staten Island Giants in 2024, and they made the semifinals at the 2026 Oakley Icon Alliance after beating Conquer Chargers 26-18 in pool play. Head coach Todd Thomson is one of the most decorated coaches in Las Vegas flag history and has coached the USA girls national team. The program's alumni pipeline into the U.S. National Team, including Maci Joncich, is among the best in the country.
2026 OIA finish: 3rd (semifinalist, 5-3)
4. Bad Rabbits Select
Location: Calexico, California and Mexicali, Baja California Website: instagram.com/badrabbits_select · Club page: Bad Rabbits Select on Flag50
The best story in girls flag football. Bad Rabbits came out of a small border community with no infrastructure and turned into a two-time national champion program with 150,000+ TikTok followers and a genuine global fanbase.
They were one point away from the 2026 Oakley Icon Alliance title, falling 27-26 to Texas Fury in the final, and Jessica Manriquez was named OIA Championship MVP. The 14U squad won the 2025 NFL FLAG Championship in Canton, and quarterback Azul Trujillo has become one of the most recognizable young players in the sport. Their 6-3 OIA record and plus 50 differential were both second best in the field.
Bad Rabbits play with an edge nobody else quite replicates. Ranked fourth here only because the top three carry deeper multi-division depth.
2026 OIA finish: 2nd (runner-up, 6-3, MVP)
5. THT Flag Football (The Home Team)
Location: Staten Island, New York Website: instagram.com/thtflagfootball · Club page: THT Flag Football on Flag50
THT was started by parents who wanted an outlet for their kids and grew into one of the most credentialed clubs anywhere: five NFL FLAG national championships, two SHS world titles, two FFWCT world titles, and three Zorts national titles. They run girls and boys teams from 8U through 17U and operate a foundation that helps families offset travel costs.
The 2026 season was a strong one. THT reached the Oakley Icon Alliance semifinals, beating Conquer Chargers 21-20 along the way, and then won the Girls 12U national championship at NFL FLAG, 21-7 over PBF Krewe. THT Yellow also reached the Girls High School quarterfinals.
2026 OIA finish: 4th (semifinalist, 4-4)
6. Staten Island Giants
Location: Staten Island, New York Website: instagram.com/s.i.g_flag_football · Club page: Staten Island Giants on Flag50
Co-founded in 2019 by Michael Colt, SIG is an all-female program running 8U through 18U with financial backing from the New York Giants. The club won the 2024 NFL FLAG 18U Girls national championship, beating Apex Predators 28-7 behind a four-touchdown MVP performance from quarterback Valentina Fanetti.
SIG has produced a steady stream of national team selections and was one of the first programs anywhere to prove that a girls-only club could be built into a national contender. They did not appear in the 2026 OIA final eight, which is the only thing keeping them out of the top five.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
7. Pirate Bay Krewe
Location: Land O'Lakes, Florida (Pasco County, Tampa Bay area) Website: piratebaykrewe.com · Club page: Pirate Bay Krewe on Flag50
A member of the Buccaneers Flag Football Network and the travel arm of Pirate Bay Flag Football, PBK is the strongest girls club in the deepest flag football state in America. They run girls-only divisions from the youth level up and hold notoriously competitive tryouts for their Oakley Icon Alliance roster.
PBK earned a spot at OIA Championship Weekend in February and reached the Girls 12U national championship game at NFL FLAG in July, losing to THT. Their Blackhearts squad, led by quarterback Megan Medina, also made noise in the older brackets. Operating out of Tampa Bay means they scrimmage against the best high school programs in the country as a matter of routine.
2026 OIA finish: 6th (2-5)
8. Leominster Flag Football (LFFL)
Location: Leominster, Massachusetts Website: leominsterflag.com · Club page: Leominster Flag Football on Flag50
The most important flag football organization in New England. Founded in 2013, LFFL was the first league of its kind in Massachusetts and remains the largest, with roughly 800 players per year across Pre-K through high school. Girls Division Director Becky Curley also coaches Leominster High School, which won the inaugural New England Patriots Girls High School Flag Football League title.
LFFL is not just a rec league with a travel team bolted on. Their select squad qualified for Oakley Icon Alliance Championship Weekend and opened the tournament by beating Conquer Chargers 13-6, the best single result any team outside the top four produced all weekend. The club's 17U girls have made repeated appearances at NFL FLAG Nationals.
2026 OIA finish: 7th (2-5, with a win over Conquer Chargers)
9. Athena Warriors (Athena Athletics)
Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania (Montgomery County) Website: athenaathletics.net · Club page: Athena Warriors on Flag50
Started by Tim and Katie Quinn for their four daughters, Athena began with eight players and a few moms filling out the roster. It is now the largest and most recognized all-girls recreational and travel flag program in Pennsylvania, with more than 300 girls through the program and a direct hand in the PIAA sanctioning girls flag football as a state sport.
On the field, Athena won the 2023 NFL FLAG 14U national championship and finished 2024 to 2025 as the Zorts number one ranked High School girls club in the country. Athena Warriors Select reached the Girls High School quarterfinals at the 2026 NFL FLAG Championships, falling to Texas Fury ATX Red. Their OIA weekend was rough, but the program's trajectory and influence are undeniable.
2026 OIA finish: 8th (1-6)
10. Virginia Hurricanes
Location: Arlington, Virginia Website: virginiahurricanes.net · Club page: Virginia Hurricanes on Flag50
The Hurricanes run competitive girls flag teams for grades 2 through 12 and have won five NFL FLAG national championships, more than almost any other girls club in the country. Their 10U squad went back to back in 2021 and 2022, at one point outscoring national tournament opponents 96-8 across six games.
The Hurricanes also run a basketball program, which speaks to the multi-sport athlete profile they recruit. A DC-area institution and a consistent presence deep in national brackets.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
11. CT Flag Lady Matrix
Location: Windsor, Connecticut Website: ctflagfootball.com · Club page: CT Flag Lady Matrix on Flag50
The girls travel arm of the Connecticut Flag Football League, the largest youth flag league in the state, running teams at 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and High School. CT Flag LMX reached the Girls 14U national championship game at the 2026 NFL FLAG Championships, falling to Conquer Chargers.
Beyond the field, CT Flag has been the driving force behind girls flag in Connecticut, hosting a 400-athlete high school kickoff clinic with the New York Giants and donating full uniform sets to the UConn women's club program. Rapidly rising.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
12. UUT South Tampa Mafia
Location: Tampa, Florida Website: uutflag.com · Club page: UUT South Tampa Mafia on Flag50
Operated by the nonprofit Unleashing Untapped Talents, South Tampa Mafia fields one of the deepest girls rosters in the country: 8U, 9U, 10U Blue, 10U Red, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U and High School. They play at least six tournaments a year and practice up to three days a week.
The Mafia won the 2026 NFL FLAG Girls 10U national championship, beating Conquer Chargers 13-6 in the final. That is a serious scalp. Their commitment to scholarships and financial accessibility also makes them one of the most community-driven elite clubs in the sport.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
13. Jaguars Elite
Location: Jacksonville, Florida Website: jaguars.com/community/prep/girls-flag · Club page: Jaguars Elite on Flag50
The Jacksonville Jaguars run one of the most professionally supported girls travel programs in the NFL, with eight girls teams whose athletes are selected from across 38 Florida counties. Players get uniform unveilings at EverBank Stadium, sign contracts to join the program, and compete locally and nationally year round.
Jaguars Elite squads have won bracket titles at NFL FLAG Nationals, and the Jaguars Foundation's annual Girls Flag Preseason Classic now hosts more than 625 high school athletes. When an NFL club invests at this level, the results follow.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
14. Jets Flag Elite
Location: Florham Park, New Jersey Website: newyorkjets.com/community/jets-flag-elite · Club page: Jets Flag Elite on Flag50
The New York Jets were the first NFL club to push girls flag to the varsity level, launching a PSAL league in New York City in 2011 and the first New Jersey high school girls league with Nike in 2021. Jets Flag Elite is their first girls travel team, and it went from tryouts to national relevance fast.
In its first year of competition, the program placed multiple athletes on the 15U U.S. National Team. The Jets have funded more than 260 girls flag teams with 7,500 participants, and they host the Oakley Icon Alliance East Regional at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Young program, enormous runway.
2026 OIA finish: Did not reach Championship Weekend
15. DAWGS Academy
Location: Round Rock and Cedar Park, Texas (Austin metro) Club page: DAWGS Academy on Flag50
Nationally ranked with more than 200 tournament wins, DAWGS runs girls teams from 6U all the way up and has competed at NFL FLAG Nationals, the Junior Olympics and national invitationals. They are building from the youth ranks up rather than assembling a high school super-roster, which is the harder and more durable way to do it.
Sharing a metro with Texas Fury means DAWGS athletes are tested constantly. Watch this program over the next two cycles as its youngest cohorts age into the high school divisions.

How to Find a Club Near You
These 15 sit at the very top of a pyramid that is now hundreds of clubs deep. Most families do not need a national contender. They need the nearest program that holds real tryouts, plays a tournament schedule, and has a coach worth handing a season to.
That is what the Flag50 Club Finder is for. Search by ZIP or city, filter by age group, and go straight to the club's own site. A few useful entry points:
- The full 2026 rankings, club by club
- 12U girls clubs and travel teams, the deepest division on the circuit
- High school girls clubs, where recruiting starts
- Girls flag clubs in California, Texas, Florida, and New York
If your player is not ready for tryouts yet, start in a local rec league or a camp or clinic. Almost every athlete on this page did.
What This Tells Us About Where the Sport Is Going
Three things stand out from the 2026 club season.
The gap at the top is razor thin. The OIA final was decided by one point. The NFL FLAG High School final was decided by one point in overtime. Conquer beat Texas Fury at OIA and Texas Fury nearly beat Conquer at Nationals. On any given weekend, the top four clubs on this list can beat each other.
Club depth now beats single-team dominance. Conquer, Texas Fury and THT all won or reached finals across multiple age divisions this year. Programs that only build one great high school team are getting passed by programs that build a pipeline. That is the travel-club ladder doing what it is designed to do.
The infrastructure arrived. Oakley Icon Alliance goes to 70+ teams across four countries next season. The NFL FLAG Championships drew 45,000 fans to Westfield and 14.3 million viewers. Indiana just cleared 100 high school girls teams, the threshold for IHSAA sanctioning. Flag football is on track to become an NCAA championship sport across all three divisions, and it debuts at the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.
Every athlete on every one of these 15 rosters is now playing on a path that ends somewhere real.
Rankings reflect 2026 season results through the NFL FLAG Championships in Westfield, Indiana, July 23 to 26, 2026. Sources include the official Oakley Icon Alliance final standings, NFL FLAG Championship results, and club records. Run a club that belongs on this list? Add it to the Club Finder.
