NFL Flag Ventura County is youth and adult flag football done right — the energy of Friday night football, the polish of the NFL FLAG brand, and a local league that families across Simi Valley, Moorpark, the Conejo Valley, and the San Fernando Valley are proud to call their own.

We bring official NFL FLAG football to every kid in Ventura County across Spring and Fall seasons, plus summer camps. We speak to kids like athletes and to parents like partners — celebrating effort, team, and the joy of the game. Every division plays a full season with refs on every field, real standings, and a playoff push that ends in a Super Bowl for each age group. Encouraging and energetic, never stiff, never babyish — just great flag football, run right.

Parents
Who can play?
Boys and girls from ages 4 through 15 play in our youth divisions (5U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 15U), with Co-Ed and Girls-only brackets. We also run adult divisions for ages 30–58.
Where and when are games played?
We play at two locations: Simi Valley (Rancho Santa Susana Community Park) on Saturday nights, and Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks High School) on Sunday afternoons. The Fall 2026 season runs late August through October.
How are teams formed?
Full teams, buddy requests, and coach requests are always encouraged — but individuals can sign up on their own and we will place them on a team.
Does the league supply uniforms?
Yes! Registration includes an official NFL-branded reversible jersey (with a name option), a flag belt and shorts, and Picture Pack A (a $25 value). A Gamebreaker soft-shell helmet is required and available with a discount code.
Is any safety gear mandatory?
Yes — every player must wear a mouthguard and an approved Gamebreaker soft-shell helmet before stepping on the field. See our Player Safety page for details.
Are there playoffs?
Yes — there are playoffs and a Super Bowl for each age division. Players must be present and play in the Super Bowl to receive a championship ring; injured players must be present on the sideline.
Coaches
What qualifications are needed to be a coach?
Coaching positions are mostly filled by parents, relatives, or friends of the players. No prior experience is required — we provide the rulebook and support you need.
What are player sheets?
Player sheets are required during games. Blank sheets are available at the snack bar on game day. Failure to complete a player sheet results in a forfeit.
How long do games last?
Games follow the official NFL FLAG format on a running clock that stops only for injuries, halftime, and timeouts. See the Rulebook page for the full rules.
